How do you find the case study you need from among the nearly 2,000 case studies, sequels/epilogues, and notes that form our collection? Here are some tips:
Keyword Search Enter one or more keywords, separated by a space. Click on the appropriate checkbox to mark the field(s) you want to search: title, author, abstract, topic, date published. Press the search button. Follow the title link to view the detail.
Reference Number Search To search for a product by its reference number, enter the reference number (for example, 626.0) . Press the search button.
Title Search In the keyword block, enter a word or words that appear in the title (for example: managing boston housing). Check the "title" box. Press the search button.
Author Search In the keyword block, enter the first and/or last names of the author (for example: howard husock). Check the "author" box. Press the search button. The results will appear in order of best matches. (For example: cases by Howard Husock will appear at the top of the results list -- a 100% match -- cases by Howard Smith would appear at or near the end of the list.)
Abstract Search In the keyword block, enter the keyword(s) you want to appear in the case abstract. (The abstract is a brief description or synopsis of the case.) Check the "abstract" box. Press the search button. The results will appear in order of best matches.
Topic Search Select the topic you want to view from the pull-down topic menu. Click the search button.
Alternately, you can browse cases by clicking on Main Topics in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Clicking on a main topic will lead you to secondary topics under which specific cases will be posted.
Date Published Search In the keyword block, enter the year to generate a list of cases published that year. Check the "date published" box. Click the search button. For example, enter "1998" to generate a list of all cases published in 1998.
